GATTON PRIMARY SCHOOL

Gatton School is the first purpose built Islamic Primary School in the country. After gaining approval in November 2002 of opening a Voluntary Aided School by both Wandsworth and the DfE, the building works commenced at the existing school site. During the construction phase, Trustees ensured that best possible scheme for the school was achieved. Gatton School started as a VA school in September 2004, the school only moved to the new location in January 2006 after the completion of building works. Gatton School started as a 2 form school but due to overwhelming demand has now become a 3 form school. Gatton is a high achieving school consistently producing excellent results. Gatton is the first Muslim VA primary school in the country to achieve an outstanding Ofsted rating.
