Chairman of the Board of Trustees
Naeem Siddiqi
In the name of Allah the Most Kind, the Most Merciful.
I express deepest gratitude to our Creator, Allah Almighty for giving the Board of Trustees this wonderful opportunity to serve our community with the educational needs of our young children.
Our vision is to achieve excellence academically, spiritually, morally and socially for our future generation. An education that not only provides excellence in academic achievement but a clear focus on the ethical and moral character building of an individual. This is our vision for an Islamic school, which gave birth to the family of Al-Risalah schools.
It was a matter of joy and celebration when Gatton School, the first purpose built Islamic school in the UK, was awarded an Outstanding Status rating by Ofsted. The same rating was also achieved by Orchard Primary School in Lambeth.
I am pleased that our Al-Risalah alumni, who are now both in the public and private sector, playing an important role in our society. The sense of connection that our alumni continue to feel towards Al-Risalah is a valued and important part of our school.
Our future is bright, as we connect people and ideas with the latest management practices, and put those ideas into action to address the problems of our complex world. We hope it is not too distant in the future when young persons of all faiths and none can enjoy the fruits of our labour by being a part of the Al-Risalah family.
Our schools must cater for people of different faiths and backgrounds so that they can learn and enrich themselves with the diverse cultures that exist in our country. God willing, such ethos can play an important role for our diverse communities to thrive and live in harmony and for their offspring to become future ambassadors of our country.
